Count Accuracy charts for Standard Capacity Counting Scales and Systems (sample scale only):
What is the relationship between SAMPLE SIZE (weight of the initial sample) vs. the capacity of the scale, i.e. "How may samples should I use?" or "What is the relationship between the weight of the initial sample and the anticipated count accuracy?". The following charts should be helpful in understanding the relationship.
NOTE: Count performance depends on many variables, including some that are beyond the operator's control related to part weight consistency. Examples would be variations in material density, machine oil, lead lengths (for electronic components), part weight variations especially with molded plastic or nylon parts, source, etc. Accuracy refers to the SAMPLE SCALE only when used with 2-Base Counting Systems.
The PLUS+ Series Main Board retrofits virtually every 7000 Series Scale and Indicator made in the last 20 years!
ONE OF THE primary considerations in designing the new surface mount Main Board used in all Pennsylvania Scale products was supporting existing scales currently in use... the new board not only retrofits, but the calibration steps and basic features are consistent with previous design-- one of our main advantages is a 15-20 year service life. Long after inexpensive competitors' products have been discarded, you can expect your Pennsylvania Scale to continue providing accurate, reliable service.
